05 / PIERCE THE VEIL

Taken: On the Vans Warped Tour.
Why It Made The Cut: Because I'd been trying to get this shot of Mike just right since February and I finally did it.

04 / HALSEY

Taken: Chicago in October.
Why It Made The Cut: I remember changing my lens and putting my 70-200mm on. The second I looked up she had a water bottle and I lifted my camera to snap a photo and this happened? Probably the luckiest shot of my life - haha.

03 / EMAROSA

Taken: On the Vans Warped Tour in New York.
Why It Made The Cut: Bradley will forever be my favorite person to photograph. He expresses emotion in his performance like nobody else I've ever seen perform. He was laying on his back with his head off the edge of the stage and this photo to me represents what I strive to capture as a photographer. Pure emotion.

02 / PARAMORE

Taken: Chicago in May.
Why It Made The Cut: Hayley ran up to my camera being a goof ball. Also, photographing this show meant a lot to me. it was right after my best friend passed away and as much as I hate to bring it up, I really wanted to step away from photography. I just wanted to give up and be home forever. The kindness of a friend helping me get to photograph this show really restored my faith in art.

01 / BRING ME THE HORIZON

Taken: London in November.
Why It Made The Cut: Once again, this photo was not planned. I know Oli either lays down during this part of "Can You Feel My Heart" or jumps around. I always wait to see what he does. This particular night the venue was holding about 10,000 people so the stage was about 6 and a half feet tall. I reached my camera up to manually focus, I could barely see where he was and I somehow got this perfectly in focus. It's one of those moments where you look at the artist and you wouldn't think they are playing to 10,000 people. I'm just very proud of this image and all of my work with Bring Me this year. This is my favorite photo of 2015.
