I've always enjoyed photographing ISSUES live since the first time I caught one of their sets in 2013 when they were out with Pierce The Veil and Memphis May Fire. After that I made sure I always caught their sets. A little over a year later I was on Warped and caught their set every single day. Loved every second of it. I had a blast with them on their headliner last fall and MISSED photographing them so much! I has been months. So I was very excited to come out in Chicago to the Future Hearts tour to catch their set and catch up with the guys! Best band. Best crew. Overall best people. 

I have photographed Paramore two times previous to having this insanely awesome opportunity. Once in 2011 at Warped Tour and once in 2013 at Jingleball. I was beyond thankful to have a chance to photograph them on their "Evening With Paramore" run. It was such an incredible stripped down version of production and a raw side of the band. It was by far the best I've ever seen them perform and they completely slayed. Not to mention... one of the most epic endings to any show.. ever!

The Maine just released their fifth full-length album, American Candy. They're currently on a tour supporting that album and brought along Chicago natives, Real Friends and Knuckle Puck, along with the incredible Technicolors.

I first photographed Vanna on the 2014 Vans Warped Tour a few times last summer. I vibe with their live presence because it's so out of this world. I had been wanting to work on a project with them for a while so this tour was the perfect opportunity!

Graceland Cemetery sits comfortably in north Chicagoland. I've been wanting to go since I moved here in 2010 but never found the time. My roommate and I were itching to wander around and photograph something yesterday (April 10th) and it clicked! Graceland, here we come.

I was thrilled to head to Austin after a week of relaxing in LA for a week at SXSW with VANS. Here's a recap of my week!

3/4 of The World Tour headed to Self Help immediately after the tour routing ended and Mallory Knox left us. With heavy hearts and anxiousness, we made our way to California for what was going to be a crazy day of TONS of music!

When the opportunity to finish the World Tour with Pierce the Veil came about, I was really excited because I had heard so many incredible things about the guys. I had the best feeling in my gut about it and I was right. The month I spent documenting their life on the road was one of the most insightful months I've experienced as a photographer. 

I had been a fan of photographing ISSUES up until 2014 Warped Tour when I finally worked face to face with the guys and clicked with them instantly. They are all so unique and their music is so catchy, how can you resist? After a long five weeks on Warped Tour photographing them near daily, I was asked to come out on their headlining tour. 

I had just gotten off The Parks and Dev tour, hung out in Universal Studios, drank way too many Harry Potter related beverages, stared at Hogwarts and then flew to Vegas to meet up with Emarosa for a two week stint with them before I headed off to my next tour.

The Emarosa guys are some of the most genuine and creative I've ever met. I don't know any artists that I work better with. Their album, Versus (2014), is one of my all time favorites. I was really excited to hang out and do what I love simply for fun for some time. The end result of this run contained my favorite images that I've ever produced. Happy to share them with you all.

Another Parks & Dev blog. I technically wasn't on the tour with Bring Me The Horizon but I loved photographing them. Their production was out of this world. So I wanted to do a special gallery for these images and share them with you guys! Enjoy.

The time had finally come! I was beyond excited for this tour. I knew it was going to be an epic one and boy.. was I right! Some of my favorite images to date (even as I'm rewriting this right now and it's March 2015). Here we go...

Right after Warped Tour I hopped onto the Craig Owens Texas acoustic tour and we went straight from the Alternative Press awards to rehearsals for the Crowd Surf America tour with Blessthefall! Oh man.. I was exhausted. But... we did it! Here are my favorite images.

When Craig asked me about doing his acoustic run, how could I say no? The plans were set, flight was booked and I was ready for one of the funnest weeks ever. I left Warped Tour and flew out to Texas the morning July 15th. I was so thrown off. Warped Tour is like... straight isolation. I had forgotten what the real world was like. Starbucks? What? What's coffee? Um? Normal human beings? Where was I?

The summer of 2013 I did a few day stint of The Vans Warped Tour with Chiodos. This year I did five weeks freelance and it was one of the best experience of my life. Hands down! Warped Tour truly is summer camp. It's eye candy for a photographer because everywhere you look - there's a photo op.
